I BOOKED THE WRONG TICKET TYPE WHERE I AM A FEMALE BUT I HAVE BOOKED A MALE TICKET, CAN I STILL USE THE TICKET?
Unfortunately, due to the strictly limited number of seats, if a male or female books the incorrect ticket, we will be unable to accommodate a seat for them. Ticket holders are encouraged to check their ticket type before the event. If you have incorrectly booked the ticket, please rebook as soon as possible. Once you have rebooked, email us at info@yaaummati.co.uk and we will refund your original order.

I LOST MY TICKET, WHAT DO I DO?
Email us at info@yaaummati.co.uk and request us to resend your ticket/order confirmation. Please provide the event you purchased, the email address used for the order, and confirm the contact number. We will then resend the ticket/order confirmation if you pass the security checks.

DOES MY CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 10 NEED A TICKET?
Our events are strictly for those aged 10 and above. Ages below this will not be permitted on entry. Please do not bring babies and toddlers to the event due to the limited seating capacity and disturbances to other attendees. Those with children under 10 will not be permitted entry despite having purchased a ticket. All children require a ticket. Please ensure you hold a ticket for your child.

I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND, CAN SOMEONE ELSE ATTEND ON MY BEHALF?
Yes, another person can attend on your behalf as long as the ticket type is correct. For example, a male can only use a male ticket. A female cannot use a male ticket, and a male cannot use a female ticket.

CAN I GET A REFUND FOR MY TICKET?
All our tickets, as per the terms and conditions agreed to prior purchasing are non-refundable. Tickets are transferable only to the same type. For example, a male ticket cannot be transferred to a female and vice versa. Please contact us to inform us to whom you wish to transfer the tickets to.

I HAVE SELECTED THE WRONG DAY/CITY, CAN I USE THIS TICKET ON ANOTHER EVENT?
No, you will need to rebook your ticket for the correct event. Once you have rebooked your ticket, please email us at info@yaaummati.co.uk, and we will refund your original order inshaAllah.

I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE IN MY BOOKING, WHAT CAN I DO?
Please rebook your entire order with the correct details within 48 hours from the time the incorrect booking was made. We are unable to make partial refunds/amendments to a booking once you have completed the purchase. Once you have rebooked, email us at info@yaaummati.co.uk and we will refund your original order.

WHAT ARE THE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS?
Segregated seating, as mentioned in the terms & conditions before the agreement. Our staff will guide you to your seat. We will ask for a row to be filled up before opening up seats on the next row. Please try to arrive in your groups if you wish to be seated together. For iftar events, seating will be floor seating. There will be a limited number of chairs available for those who require them.

WE ARE A FAMILY, CAN WE SIT TOGETHER?
Due to logistics, we are unable to seat an entire family together; therefore, the seating will be split into two sections, male and female. Male ticket holders will sit in the male section, and female ticket holders will sit in the female section. If all the male/female members of the family wish to sit together, we will try to accommodate this; however, we cannot guarantee this. Anyone with a child ticket can sit with either of their parents.

CAN I PLEASE HAVE THE ITINERARY FOR THE EVENT?
Closer to the time of the event, an information pack is sent out to all attendees including a detailed itinerary.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
With regards to dress code, there is no specific dress code; we request attendees to be mindful that it is an event suitable for all ages, young and old. So, to be mindful of not wearing clothing that could cause offence to another. (Such as clothing with explicit images or profanity etc). However, we advise you to wear the appropriate Islamic libaas (clothing) thobes/abaya, and maintain the hijab, particularly in this environment. Let us show the beauty and unity of our deen.

WILL THERE BE PRAYER FACILITIES AVAILABLE?
If our events are held in the theatre, no due to the lack of space. We will try to schedule our events in between the prayers. However for events in banqueting halls, yes, prayer will be prayed in congregation inshaAllah.

IF IāM NOT PRAYING, WHERE CAN I GO?
The banqueting venue is a large venue so there is plenty of space for yourself if you just want to hear the wonderful recitation.

WILL FOOD BE SERVED AT THE EVENTS?
If our events are held in the theatre, there will be no food provided. However, for events in banqueting halls, either food will be provided at the end of the event (one container per attendee) or there will be stalls in the venue from which you can purchase refreshments. Any outside food is not allowed into the venue excluding water. We are unable to cater to any specific dietary requirements at these events.

CAN SOMEONE WHO IS NOT MUSLIM JOIN THE EVENT?
Yes, our events are open to those of all faith and no faith.
